The Centre has for hire:-
The Main Hall
is large enough for events of up to 120 people - Disco's, Weddings etc. It has a sprung wooden floor ideal for
dancing and also has a full size badminton court marked on it. The Main Hall may be hired with changing rooms if
required. An adjacent bar is available if required.
The Lindsey Room
is adjacent to the Lounge and is large enough to accommodate events for up to 40 people.
The Lounge
can be joined to the Lindsey Room by means of a sliding partitionto make a larger venue able to hold 110 people .
A third generation half size Artificial Training Pitch with Floodlights, Showers, and Changing
Rooms for Officials and Two Teams. This superb artificial training pitch could be the answer for
those team winter training sessions. Its half size makes it ideal for small numbers and for youth football. Block Bookings
for regular slots of 10 bookings or more are available.
The Lounge which
is used by the Abbeydale Social Club on Saturdays, Sundays and weekday evenings. It is large enough to accommodate 70
people and can be hired when not in use by the Social Club.
The Committee Room can
hold meetings for up to about 15 people. This room is on the first floor and is not yet accessible for wheelchair
users as the Sports and Community Centre does not have a lift. (Please note: This room will be extended
and refurbished in late 2010 together with the installation of a stairlift to permit access for all.)
The Resource Room is a ground floor room which can hold meetings for up to
about 20 people. (Please note: This room will be unavailable after August 2010).
New Youth/Art Room will be adjacent to the
Lindsey Room and can be used in conjunction with it. It is planned to be equipped for visual art activities. It is planned
to be able to accomodate 40 people. (Please note: This room will be available from September 2010 - Please contact us
